Close-Out Activity in Subic Concludes eSkwela Project

A close-out activity for CICT-BALS' joined project-eSkwela was held in Subic Bay Travellers' Hotel, SBMA Freeport, Subic, Zambales on February 8-10, 2011. The main objective of the said activity was to conclude the project spearheaded by CICT, particularly the eSkwela Project Team led by Melissa Tan.

The said activity was attended by delegates from regions I to IVB including CAR, hence its name eSkwela Close-Out Activity Luzon 1. The delegates consist of ALS Regional Coordinators, eSkwela Center Managers, Learning Facilitators which include the Mobile Teachers, Partners from LGUs and Civil Voluntary Organizations (CVOs) and DepEd and CICT Officials: Dir. Carolina S. Guererro of BALS and Secretary Ivan John E. Uy, CICT Chairman.

Majority of site implemeters expressed objection to early conclusion of the project. Nonetheless, the project had to end just like any other project that had completed.

eSkwela is good as complete "commodity" that had to be entirely turned over to BALS.
